The magazine has the fllowing conventions: the mast head which is the title and it's blue,. The strapline which in this magazine is the yellow circle reading 'new fab food menu' which would make people want to read it more to find out what is on offer in the canteen. The mid-shot which is the picture of the students looking at their exam results. The magazine breaks the conventions of three font colour scheme because there are four colours and having only three didn't work with our idea and we wanted the strapline to stand out more in a yellow circle. The magazine also has text on it to give brief information about what is inside. There are four layers on the magazine, they are : the background colour, the title, the image, and finally the text and yellow circle.
